(PPDPP - 2001)
|
 |

We are very happy
to invite you to this Outbreak of Peace and
Harmony between our two countries, in Panchgani.
Below are the details of the meet.
|
People
to People Dialogue for Peace & Prosperity
On
AUGUST 8, 9, 10, 11
At
ASIA PLATEAU
CONFERENCE CENTRE OF MORAL RE-ARMAMENT (MRA)
PANCHGANI, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA
|
"When I
dream alone, it is just a dream.
When we dream
together, it is the beginning of reality."
….. Brazilian Proverb
Why do we need
to a people to people dialogue, when heads of
Government and other officials from Pakistan and
India are meeting to find solutions to Indo-Pak
conflict?
While, agreements between India & Pakistan,
like the Indus Water Treaty have had many positive
effects, many other past meetings like Tashkent,
Shimla, Lahore and others, have not been able to
remove the seeds of deep hatred and suspicion
between the two countries for over 50 years.
The conflicts have cost more than a million lives
and billions of rupees on both sides. This scarce
resource could have been used for food, shelter,
water and education for impoverished people,
constituting the majority in both the countries.
About
the Dialogue
The conference is
aimed at bringing together seriously committed
people, like yourself, in a very inspiring
setting. We will seek the guidance of the universe
in silence to help us heal the divide between our
nations.
We will also use tools like Scenario Planning
Process of conflict resolution and Open Space
Technology to structure the proceedings, while at
the same time giving space for Inner guidance and
spontaneous meetings.
This conference is the outcome of a deep longing
for healing and peace in the sub-continent. We
wholeheartedly invite you to join us in this
inspired endeavour.
A people to people dialogue is intended to create
an inspired and practical atmosphere, in which
creative alternative can be developed from a
deeper space, for the collective good without
worrying about political posturing. Politicians'
hands can be strengthened if trust and a shared
vision are created, where people can see the
benefit of give and take. This might enable
politicians to reach a resolution. Moreover, some
ideas for action can be presented to them, while
they also attempt to resolve the conflict in a
manner, which is acceptable to the majority of the
people of both the nations.
